Chiropractic Treatment for Joint Pain

Chiropractic treatment is a helpful and noninvasive treatment to help quickly relieve discomfort and mobility issues caused by joint pain. It works in conjunction with other treatments including over-the-counter remedies.

 Treatments include:

  1. Adjustments: Special joint manipulations to restore proper alignment and function.

  2. Soft Tissue Therapy: Massage, myofascial release, and other techniques to release tight muscles around joints.

  3. Therapeutic Exercises: Customized exercises to strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and support joints.

  4. Modalities: Ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or laser therapy to reduce pain and inflammation.

  5. Nutritional Counseling: Advice on foods and supplements to support joint health.

There are home treatment options that include over-the-counter medications and topical ointments, exercise and lifestyle changes. However, if you are experiencing joint pain it is important to consult with a doctor to rule out an infection or autoimmune disease.
