What Our Patients Say

5 stars reviews.

Dr. Dalton is the best chiropractor I have ever been to. I had a zip line accident years ago and have suffered back pain for years that she helped me get relief for in just a few sessions. I then went to her during my entire pregnancy and now I take my infant to see her as we had some significant birth trauma that she is helping us with. He sleeps so much better after a session with her and does not wince in pain to pass gas. I also continue to see her post pregnancy to help realign my body. She is incredibly knowledgeable and continues her learnings to provide superior care. She is also so kind, empathetic, really listens to you about what’s going on, and asks questions to get to the true root of the issue that needs help. Her office is clean and easily accessible with good parking. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Dalton more and we are so lucky we found her.

What is a Chiropractic Adjustment?

During a chiropractic adjustment, a chiropractor applies controlled and sudden force to a spinal joint using their hands or a small tool. This technique, also referred to as spinal manipulation, is carried out to enhance spinal motion and improve the physical function of your body.

How do I know Chiropractic Adjustment is Right for Me?

Chiropractic is a therapeutic treatment performed by a licensed chiropractor who has extensive knowledge of the body’s musculoskeletal function. If you are looking for a way to find pain relief that is noninvasive and does not involve medications, this alternative treatment is a recognized solution to help you obtain relief.

 Are Chiropractic Adjustments Painful?

A chiropractic adjustment is not painful. A patient may feel mildly sore after an adjustment, similar to after a workout. However, chiropractic treatments are noninvasive and gentle. You may hear popping sounds as you are being adjusted, but that is just gas leaving your joints.

How Often Should I Visit a Chiropractor?

Regular visits to your chiropractor and adherence to the personalized care plan are crucial for optimal results. Given the unique nature of each person's pain and individual responses to treatment, consistency is key. The goal of an adjustment is to restore your health over the long term and not just relieve symptoms temporarily.

How Long After a Chiropractic Adjustment Will I Start Feeling Better?

Most people start feeling immediate relief after a chiropractic adjustment. However, you may feel sore for 24 hours after. It is also important to let your primary care doctor know about any pain, recent or chronic ( lasting more than 3 months), so they can rule out any potential serious problems.
