Chiropractic
Dr. Dalton utilized a hands-on approach to care utilizing techniques that you may know. Those techniques are Diversified, Cox Flexion distraction, decompression, Thompson drops, and Activator. After thorough examination she will determine the best form of chiropractic care to help you get better the quickest and safest route. She also has extensive training in extremity adjusting, and knowledge around most injuries.

Dr. Dalton is certified in multiple different soft tissue techniques. She utilize these soft tissue techniques in addition to the Chiropractic adjustments in order to maximize your progress. Soft tissue release with Range of Motion is a pin and stretch method to releasing muscle tension. It involves bringing the muscle into it a shortened state and then applying pressure to the muscle and elongating the muscle in order to get the most release from the muscle to decrease tension and tightness. It is utilized to decrease muscle tension, improve range of motion, and decrease pain and inflammation

Cupping
Cupping involves placing special cups on the skin that create a vacuum causing the underlying skin, muscle, and fascia to raise up into the cup. Cupping is utilized to increase blood and lymphatic circulation, and loosen restrictions on the soft tissue. There are different types of cupping methods Dr. Dalton might use including: fixed, sliding, and dynamic cupping.

IASTM
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM) is a soft tissue mobilization performed with a medical-grade stainless steel instrument that treats fascial restrictions and increases blood flow to the restricted area while breaking down soft tissue adhesions.

Functional
Dr. Dalton works with each patient to build a program of stretches and exercises specific to their needs to stabilize the problem area and negate any future issues with the pain or discomfort that brought them to SBC. Dr. Dalton views this as the most crucial part of the service she provides, ensuring the patients leave with the tools (stretches, etc.) that enable them to play an active role in their long-term pain and discomfort relief.
